ZNet Technologies Expands Acronis Distribution to Six Asia Pacific Markets

ZNet Technologies will distribute Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand via its partners.

ZNet Technologies, a cloud services distributor that supplies cloud infrastructure and managed services, is widening its distribution partnership with Acronis to six more countries: Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Under the expanded agreement, ZNet will sell Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud in these markets through its partner network. Its partners can now offer a broad set of cyber protection services: backup, disaster recovery, anti-malware enhanced with AI, endpoint security and management tools, file sync and share, and file notarisation based on blockchain. Billing and service delivery are automated through a platform ZNet built itself.

Munesh Jadoun, founder and chief executive of ZNet Technologies Private Limited, said Acronis's AI-based product, which combines data protection and cybersecurity, answers an urgent need to protect remote and hybrid networks from new cyber threats. He called it an excellent option for partners that want to give their end users an advanced, all-in-one protection product. With Acronis added to its South-east Asian portfolio, he said, ZNet wants partners to be able to deliver Acronis protection with flexible billing and full automation through RackNap, the company's award-winning service delivery and business automation platform.

One interface for licensing and billing

Thanks to that automation, ZNet partners can provision Acronis licences for their customers and manage the billing from a single interface, which makes onboarding, provisioning, billing, support and reporting simpler. Partners can also let their clients track what they are currently using and move up or down between plans when they need to.

Neil Morarji, general manager for enterprise in Asia Pacific at Acronis, said cyber threats have changed dramatically in the past two years. Organisations now want lower costs and better efficiency alongside stronger security, he said, and that opens particular opportunities for service providers selling cyber protection that customers are asking for. Because ZNet already has established relationships with partners in South-east Asia, Morarji said, those partners understand the shift under way and are among the first to respond to the demand. He added that ZNet's highly qualified technical team helps Acronis make sure customers use everything its upgraded protection products can do.
