Tech Data and BlueCat Partner to Optimize and Secure Enterprise Networks

Tech Data has partnered with BlueCat, a leading provider of enterprise Domain Name System (DNS) technology, to offer network and security teams in the U.S. and Canada greater visibility and control of internal networks.

BlueCat’s Enterprise DNS platform centralizes, processes and analyzes DNS data to provide organizations with the critical visibility and control capabilities that they need to better protect and more efficiently operate their networks.

“Our customers need powerful tools to efficiently administer critical network infrastructure, manage cyber risk and ensure compliance,” said Alex Ryals, vice president, Security Solutions, at Tech Data. “BlueCat’s Enterprise DNS platform improves control and compliance across networks, enabling organizations to centralize and automate DNS services for security and operational efficiency.”

BlueCat reduces complexity and simplifies DNS management across environments by centralizing traditionally siloed datasets. This equips busy network and security teams with a single source of truth, to be leveraged for protective and operational objectives.

Cloud, automation and cybersecurity initiatives are enabled by BlueCat's solutions, which work with existing firewalls, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, automation platforms and most major cloud environments. For this reason, BlueCat's core-to-edge solution has become a critical foundation to infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives at enterprises in more than 60 countries.

“Tech Data’s experts know how to uncover and elevate differentiated technology solutions in a crowded marketplace,” said Michael Harris, CEO, at BlueCat. “We look forward to gaining their insights as we work together to expand our DNS offering to support their customers by providing a simplified approach to the challenges associated with day-to-day network operations such as automation, cybersecurity and cloud migration.”
